The Constellation
After 127 jumps toward the galactic core, the crew of the Constellation encounters something impossible: a nonhuman object hanging in space and strange signals that may be interfering with the ship’s AI. As Commander Gerald Younge investigates unusual fracture patterns in the jump coils, Dr. Hysen reveals the deeper they travel, the more the fabric of spacetime itself may be distorting around them. With the ship’s drive at risk and an unknown intelligence nearby, the crew must modify the Hysen Fold Drive before they end up stranded far from home.
