Moonlit Thrones: Fated Doom Some crowns are forged in blood. Some destinies are written in shadows. And some hearts are claimed long before they learn to love. Princess Eden of Lysoria was never meant to choose her own fate. When she discovers that her life is nothing more than a pawn in her father's ruthless political game, she does the unthinkable. She abandons her crown, her kingdom, and everything she has ever known, fleeing into a world where a single mistake could cost her life. But freedom comes at a price. Hunted by the very kingdom she once called home, Eden seeks refuge beyond familiar borders, only to discover that cruelty wears many faces. Amid whispers of war, the suffering of innocents, and secrets buried beneath royal thrones, she begins to question everything she once believed. Her kingdom is not as righteous as she thought, and its enemies may not be the monsters she was taught to fear. Then there is Aurelian, the Dark King of Drakar. Ruthless, merciless, and feared by every kingdom that dares speak his name, Aurelian rules through a power few would challenge. He has no patience for naïve idealism, no weakness for misplaced trust, and no intention of allowing anyone to threaten his realm. Yet beneath his cold reign lies a truth even he has not fully understood. Ancient prophecies do not bend to human pride. Some destinies are sealed before birth, and some promises are made before the hearts they bind ever beat. Moonlit Thrones: Fated Doom Some crowns are forged in blood. Some destinies are sealed before birth, and some promises are made before the hearts they bind ever beat. He is supposed to be the king she feared. She is supposed to be the princess he would never love. Yet, as kingdoms prepare for war and buried truths threaten to shatter everything they know, the most feared king in the world may discover that the one person capable of bringing him to his knees is the very woman fate has destined for his throne. Because sometimes, the greatest doom is not the fate written for you. It is the love you were never meant to escape. And when a king finally kneels, the world will learn that even the darkest throne can belong to a heart that has always been hers. Angels Sing Thee to Thy Rest: A Legionnaire’s Tale follows Thomas York, an Englishman who leaves behind a life he would rather forget and enlists in the French Foreign Legion in the 1880s. From the brutal training grounds of North Africa to the long voyage east, Thomas is thrown together with men who have also chosen anonymity over the lives they once knew. Among them are Marcel, an enormous Russian with a hidden past, and Bartoli, a volatile Sardinian whose humour, temper and skill with a knife make him as dangerous to his comrades as he is to the enemy. Their destination is Tonkin. France is expanding its influence in northern Vietnam, but the campaign is far from a simple colonial conquest. Chinese forces, Black Flag fighters and local resistance confront the French as armies struggle through flooded rice fields, jungle, fortified towns and river valleys. At Sơn Tây, Bắc Ninh and across the Tonkin countryside, Thomas discovers that courage has little to do with glory and everything to do with the man standing beside you when the shooting starts. As comrades fall and the Legion strips away what remains of the man he once was, Thomas must decide whether the Legion has given him somewhere to hide—or somewhere finally to belong. A story of friendship, loss, loyalty and survival amid one of France’s forgotten colonial wars.
