CLOSENESS

I saw someone climbing up my balcony using the pipes. To my shock, it was Celio. "Oh! Celio! Why are you here this late?" I whispered.

"I wasn't able to sleep, just thinking about our precious day tomorrow," he confessed softly."It won't be ruined by anything, will it?"

"No, it won't," I assured him, holding his hands. "If anything happens, we will fix it together."

"Please, can you hug me, Galassia?"

We wrapped our arms around each other.

(She looked so incredible in the moonlight that I completely forgot how to breathe. I used to spend hours just staring at the moon when I was lonely, but looking at her right now, I didn't care about the night sky at all. I just wanted to kiss her. I wondered if I should just lean in or ask first) - Celio's thought.

He began moving his lips closer to mine. My heart was beating so fast that I was certain he could hear it.

Suddenly, a loud knock sounded at my bedroom door!

I immediately moved back, frantically gesturing for Celio to head back down the balcony. He retreated down the pipes, looking incredibly grumpy about the interruption. I smoothed my hair and opened the door. It was my mother.

"Mom, what brings you here so late?"

She smiled warmly at me. "I was just thinking about my little girl's life. All these years, you've spent your time taking care of us and running that academy. Your life became so rigid, but now, I want you to live for yourself. I want you to have everything a young woman deserves. Now, get some good sleep tonight. It's your wedding tomorrow, and you should look your absolute most beautiful."

It was incredibly calming to be surrounded by so many people who loved me. Earlier that evening, my father had sat me down and handed over the deeds to all his property and savings. He told me to stay happy, reminding me never to forget that I would always have someone backing me up.

THE WEDDING

The morning of the wedding went by in a blur. The wind was kicking up, blowing cherry blossom petals all over the aisle while we stood there, saying our vows in front of everyone. It didn't feel real until we finally walked out as husband and wife. After greeting our ecstatic guests, we departed the venue together.

Being with Celio was everything I had ever wanted. I was normally a person who barely laughed, but he had me giggling the entire drive back to his villa. When we arrived, he eagerly showed me around the house he had so cautiously and thoughtfully designed for us.

He assured me that I didn't need to worry about cooking-knowing how much I disliked it. "A maid will arrive in two days to handle the heavy household chores," Celio explained. "And whenever you aren't in the mood to cook, either the personal chef or I will take care of the meals for us."

Then, he showed me to our bedroom. It featured a massive window designed perfectly for midnight moon-viewing. When I opened the walk-in closet, I found it entirely stocked with clothes. However, unlike my usual wardrobe, this closet was bursting with vibrant, colorful dresses instead of my standard black-and-white monochrome outfits.

Celio wrapped his arms around my waist, hugging me from behind as I stared at the bright fabrics.

"Do you like it?" he whispered.

"Mmh," I hummed, leaning back against his chest.

"I know you always stick to black and white, but you don't have to hide anymore. You deserve to wear bright, beautiful things, Galassia. I want you to have all of it." he said softly against my ear.

I was so deeply moved by his thoughtfulness that I couldn't help but turn around and kiss his forehead. Affectionately cupping my face in his hands, he leaned down and kissed my forehead in return.

We had finally achieved the life we had longed for through all those empty years. My collection of gifts for him that were waiting for the owner received a warm welcome by him. Our professional lives ran smoothly, and we frequently visited my parents to spend quality time with them. Celio's deep, long-awaited craving for parental love was finally fulfilled; my parents quickly grew to love and spoil him even more than they did me.

When I eventually discovered I was pregnant, the entire family showered me with an overwhelming amount of love and care. The four of us thoroughly enjoyed our time together, and the anticipation of the baby brought Celio and me even closer.

Celio turned into an absolute maniac about my health. He was constantly hovering over me, forcing me to rest, and making sure I was eating enough, even when my morning sickness made me completely miserable.

When our baby was born, a crowd of relatives came to the hospital room to meet him. Yet, amidst the excitement, Celio's only focus was on me. He didn't even glance at his newborn child first; instead, he rushed straight to my bedside to ensure I was okay. Once he was completely assured that I was safe and healthy, I smiled and nudged him. "Go look at your child, Celio. He's waiting to meet his dad."

"No," Celio grumbled, a stubborn pout on his face. "That little brat caused my wife a lot of pain. I'm punishing him."

After a few seconds, he finally calmed down, leaned over to press a gentle kiss to my forehead, and walked over to hold his child. He had been waiting so dearly to become a father. The moment he gathered the baby into his embrace, his face lit up with pure, unadulterated happiness.

We're a family of three now. The quiet, lonely rooms from our past are completely gone, replaced by baby toys and chaotic mornings. Falling asleep with his arms around me every night, I finally know what it feels like to be completely home.

Being locked in his embrace has completely driven away the pain and the lonely tears I shed during our years apart. Galassia's love and care have given me the most precious days of my life. I pray that we never part again, and that we live out our days in absolute happiness.
