This morning, I needed to go buy some necessities. However, my manager-who usually drives for me-had his girlfriend coming into the city, so he took my only car to meet her. I let him because we are close, more like friends or brothers.

I needed to get those supplies because I didn't have much stock left; I hadn't expected to be staying at her home. While I was messaging him to find out when he would arrive so I could shop for clothes and undergarments, my phone slipped. She caught it just in time but unintentionally read the message.

I was so embarrassed that I couldn't say a word when she spoke. She was going to buy a gift for her returning friend, so she offered me a lift, and I agreed.

The scent in her car brought back a nostalgic memory of her. I remembered when she took me to her room to help me study division, but the relaxing scent of the room made me sleepy, and I dozed off leaning on the table.

Indeed, Sitting next to her scent was mesmerizing and warm . But this time, I really didn't want to sleep; I wanted to live in this moment with her.

When we reached the mall, I insisted on going alone to buy my clothes, but she said she would show me around first. She took me straight to the men's undergarments section and pointed out that the clothing section was right next to it.

Hearing this from her embarrassed me so much I felt like jumping from the fourth floor. Seeing my reaction, she softly giggled and walked away, telling me to meet her in the cafeteria after I finished shopping.

NEW CELEBRATIONS AWAIT

Charlotte is going to introduce her boyfriend to her parents, and then meet his parents, to make their relationship public through marriage. That is the reason she is shifting here. She has always been my neighbour, and now that she is coming back, I am absolutely delighted.

When the car arrived near her house, I realized she had told me about her relationship status but had never shown me his picture. Watching from my balcony, I wondered if he was the manager of my new investor. I noticed that the investor had a truly charming smile while hugging his friend on his important day.

I rushed over to meet Charlotte. She has become even more gorgeous this year. We sat around my tea table and discussed tomorrow evening's parental meeting. We decided it should be a small gathering at her home with some authentic dishes, desserts, and drinks. They look so cute together, acting nervous about the meeting while gently comforting one another.

The investor had also bought a suit for the occasion, so he took James to check the fittings while I took Charlotte. She looked absolutely glamorous in her dress.

She asked me if her boyfriend would like her outfit. Teasing her, I replied that no matter how many times he had seen her before, seeing her this time would completely take his breath away.

Afterward, she went home to her parents, and her boyfriend, James, went to his. Let's hope everything goes well at the meeting. The gathering included her parents, his parents, the investor with a girl named Ava, and me. At first, everything was great. The food was excellent, and the parents were getting along perfectly. Both sets of parents were happy to cooperate and enjoyed the food, until chaos broke out over the location of the couple's new house.

His parents wanted the house to be near his workplace. Her parents wanted it by the seaside. Neither side was ready to compromise. The investor stepped in and offered a piece of land he owned, which was roughly equal distance from both locations. Once they agreed, we finally moved on to dessert.

Ava seemed very close to the investor. They stayed together throughout the entire gathering. For some reason, it made me quite annoyed. I couldn't even enjoy my favourite dessert because I was too busy watching the two of them chat.

It was a completely bizarre feeling for me. I couldn't take my eyes off them. I wonder why this investor feels like someone I have known for a long time; even the way he drinks his Affogato seems familiar. Everything went well, but my mood and appetite were ruined the entire time.

When we left, Ava came with us and went straight to the investor's room. I was standing in the hallway when he came out to drop her home. I was furious, but when he noticed me, he walked over and explained that he was just driving his sister back. She lives near our colony, so he wouldn't be long. Then he left.

His explanation that Ava was just his sister did something to me. I instantly felt much better and went to the kitchen to make an Affogato, my favourite coffee. As I was enjoying it, he returned and asked if I had any extra. It turns out he was craving it too and loves to drink it.
