Teacher and student

Amierto started walking back to the campsite; after a while, he reached his tent. After taking a much-needed bath, he wore new clothes. "Now let's do some preparation for them," he said, looking at the little mountains of herbs in front of him.
"Finally done," he muttered while tapping on his back for a while; he stretched a little to relieve the pain. "These are good enough; I could probably manage it," he said while picking up those bags.
He stood still, lifting the door flap, then turned his head a little, but without a word, he just moved out. After walking for a while, he reached the front of another tent. "They sure are as noisy as they were back then; time sure flies fast. Not sure what they are up to now," he muttered while lifting the door flap.
Before he could even enter, he saw something flying towards him; unable to react on time, it went for his face. He caught that pillow and put it aside; he saw the room was in a complete mess. Feathers of the pillow were all over the place; not even a single item was in its actual place.
He was observing the room, and then his eyes stopped at the books section; a little smile appeared on his face as he muttered, "At least there is a part unaffected by these tiny hurricanes."
He moved towards a table and put the bags down. "How long do you wish to be statues? Come here," he ordered them. Those two ran like rats and stood still in front of him, while their heads were still facing the ground.
Amierto bent a little with his right hand supporting his chin and his left on his waist. "What is interesting there? I also want to know." "Sorry, Teacher," they muttered in low voices.
"Ok, ok, I won't get mad. Just lift your heads," he muttered while pulling a chair. They slowly lifted their heads and looked towards him; he had his ordinary, calm expression.
"What were you two doing, and where are they?" he asked. "Teacher, one is still sleeping, one is missing after your morning visit, and the last one is actually..." He hesitated for a while, but when he saw his teacher's eyes, he turned his head down.
Amierto turned his head towards the other student. "He won't tell. You tell me about the third one; where is he?"
"Teacher," she said; before she could continue, she felt a pull around her back. She turned her head a little. "Please don't tell, I will buy something for you! Please, please!" the student next to her started begging.
Amierto ignored their muttering and asked again, "Rentio, what happened?" "Teacher..." "Eyion, how dare you! It was my seventeenth round... make it eighteenth!" That voice started to fade; it was followed by the sound of falling items and a boy saying, "Sorry, sorry."
"Rentio, can you explain what just happened here? And was he Igaar?" "Yes, Teacher," she replied. Another person moved in; when he saw Amierto, he greeted him, "Good morning, Teacher. How are you?"
"It's almost evening now. And, Velieuo, how many times do I have to tell you: rest is equally important?" Amierto scolded him. "Anyway, I have to ask some questions from them; if you are not busy, stay here for a while."
"Questions," he muttered while looking towards them. They were on their knees begging; when it didn't work, they held their ears and started doing sit-stands. Their baby faces made his heart melt.
"Teacher, what did they do?" Velieuo asked. Amierto saw his eyes move but didn't say a word about it. "They are hiding something, not sure what happened. Don't worry, I won't punish them for small things."
Velieuo moved into the corner and started yawning; he stretched his arms a little. He looked towards them and thought, 'I can just hope they haven't done anything serious'.
Amierto asked again, and after a while, they told him everything. Amierto nodded his head and said, "Don't do that thing again. Rentio, you go and check how Igaar is doing. I will prepare medicine for him."
Igaar, after drinking the medicine, started crying while holding his teacher. "It's okay, Igaar, it's okay," he said while gently moving his hand on his head.
"As for you two," Amierto was thinking and then continued, "assist him with his medicine work for three..." He saw their dead faces and changed it: "...for two..." And now they made baby faces. "...Okay, seven days! And stop making that face; otherwise, I will make it three weeks!" He raised his voice a little; they quickly changed their expressions to normal.
He saw their faces and continued, "For seven days, you will assist Igaar with his medicine work, and if you are posted somewhere, make sure to help him whenever you have time."
He looked towards their shining eyes and added, "It is seven days' worth of help, even if that takes months or years." "Is that clear?" he asked, increasing his voice a little.
"Yes, Teacher," they both said in a single voice. "Good," Amierto replied. After all this commotion ended, his last student entered.
Amierto turned his head towards her and started asking questions; when Amierto was not watching, Igaar pulled his tongue out.
Eyion didn't get what he was doing at first, but soon he understood and started making signs of punches and all. While Rentio was just shaking her head, 'These two are still children.'
Rentio thought, looking towards Eyion, 'If it were not for him, I would not be in this kind of situation. I have not told anything, so maybe...' "Eyion, I deserve compensation," Rentio said.
Eyion was completely focused on making faces; he just muttered, "Ok." "So when will you be taking me for shopping?" Rentio asked with a smile. Eyion, in confusion, turned towards her and asked, "Why would I?" "You just said yes," Rentio replied with a sweet smile.
Eyion said, "I was not paying attention, so that doesn't count." "Ok, no problem. So anyway, Eyion, if I were quiet back then, what would you do?" Rentio asked; her face was a little sad.
"Rentio, this wouldn't work on your master. Anyway, let me refresh your memory. I will buy you one thing, but it doesn't matter now since you already opened your mouth just like me. So now we both are in this together, so let's just atone for it," Eyion explained.
"It's just a week, just a week..." Eyion muttered and then added, "I want this to end fast; I will go all out from the very start." "What about you, Rentio?" he asked. "Ignore that, and tell me what I said," Rentio asked with a smile.
"Why are you smiling, and what did you say back then? Let me think." After a brief pause, he continued, "It definitely started with 'Teacher'." After trying for a while, he said, "I might have forgotten what it was. Maybe something not worth remembering. What was it?"
"Nothing," Rentio said while observing his face; before he could say a thing, she continued, "I was just standing beside you while you were explaining how you made that mess."
"Silence; Teacher is done with talking," Eyion muttered. When Amierto turned his head back, he saw all the students were still in their places. He continued, "Well, everyone is here. So let's begin."
"Velieuo, Rentio, Eyion, you three have grown so much, both as persons and as professionals.
I have taught everything I could; for the last three months, you have been perfecting your skills in the open field, villages, cities, and now even on the battlefield.
With all this knowledge and experience, I am certain you will become good chemists and... " He glanced at one of them for a while and continued, “One of you has even surpassed me; it makes me think, was I even good enough to be your teacher?”
“You are the best teacher; we cannot even think what we would have done if it wasn't for you," Rentio replied. Amierto looked around and saw the others nodding their heads; with a smile, he continued, "Looks like you got this skill too".
They just smiled. Amierto took a deep breath and continued, "I think you three are ready to become full-fledged chemists. Actually, you were ready for a while, but I became a little too attached to you, so please forgive me."
"Teacher..." "Anyway, there is nothing much for a ceremony, but let's work with what we have," Amierto said while preparing things.
Eyion looked towards Igaar and straightened his back as he glanced at him, he moved his lips, which Igaar tried to read.
"Junior," Igaar understood and screamed in his mind, "EYION!!".
